By attending an NLOWE event, you agree to uphold these principles and contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Respect & Professionalism
- Treat others with kindness, respect, and professionalism.
- Use inclusive and appropriate language; avoid disruptive or offensive behavior.
- Be mindful of personal boundaries and diverse perspectives.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
- NLOWE does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that demeans, intimidates, or undermines others. This includes unwelcome conduct, offensive jokes, inappropriate comments, or actions that create a hostile or unwelcoming environment.
If you experience or witness harassment, please notify event organizers. All concerns will be handled confidentially and respectfully.
Responsible Use of Alcohol & Substances
- If alcohol is served, consume responsibly and in moderation.
- Cannabis and other substances must be used legally and in a way that does not impact others.
- Arrange for safe transportation if consuming alcohol or substances.
Note: NLOWE is not responsible for transportation decisions made during or after events.
Confidentiality & Privacy
- Participants are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Sharing proprietary, confidential, or personal information obtained during the event without consent is not permitted.
Event Participation & Liability
- Participants attend at their own risk. NLOWE is not responsible for personal injury, lost or stolen items, or damages incurred during the event.
Integrity & Accountability
- Follow event guidelines, respect shared spaces, and conduct yourself with professionalism both in person and online.
Safety & Well-being
- Adhere to all event safety and health guidelines.
- Report any concerns to event organizers promptly.
Photography & Media
- By attending this event, you acknowledge that photographs and videos may be taken and used for promotional purposes by NLOWE. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform event organizers upon arrival.
Online & Social Media Conduct
- Participants are expected to engage respectfully in digital discussions related to the event. Disruptive, inappropriate, or defamatory posts about attendees, speakers, or NLOWE will not be tolerated.
Code of Conduct Enforcement
- Failure to adhere to this disclaimer may result in removal from the event and/or restrictions on future NLOWE event participation.
