The two-part workshop will start with conducting market research to help you find and understand your potential customers, what they are looking for and how your product or service can fill their needs.
Once confidently equipped with intel on your prospective new customer, part two of the workshop will delve into developing a pitch that correctly positions your product or service. You can expect to leave with all the tools you need to make a lasting impression and differentiate yourself from the competition to increase your sales and profits.

Bio: Josie Mousseau, Consulting Specialist in International Trade and Supplier Diversity
Josie is recently retired from a distinguished career in the federal public service as a global thought leader in gender equality, leadership, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. A strong advocate for under-represented businesswomen and widely recognized for her leadership in the area of entrepreneurship and economic empowerment, Josie’s efforts have been recognized through numerous awards, including the Deputy Minister of International Trade’s Excellence in Service Award, International Alliance for Women’s World of Difference 100 Award, Organization of Women in International Trade Award for Leadership, WEConnect International Supplier Diversity Champion of the Year Award, and recognized as a Woman Worth Watching 2014 in the “Profiles in Diversity Journal” – for work on supplier diversity and inclusion. In addition, she is a founding board member of the Ottawa Chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade and a sought-after speaker and trainer on supplier diversity for under-represented businesses.
