We are thrilled to announce that on November 4, 2021, NLOWE will pay tribute to women entrepreneurs in Newfoundland and Labrador at our annual awards gala. For more than 20 years, these prestigious awards have recognized women entrepreneurs whose successful businesses contribute to the provincial economy and to our communities.  

While 2020 was a year no one will forget, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic saw the awards presentation move online for the first time. This year we are pleased to announce that the 23rd annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Gala will be held in person at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s and live-streamed virtually throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Due to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador regulations, proof of vaccination and photo ID will be required to attend the Gala.

EVENT DETAILS
This event will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The presentation of awards will be live streamed across the province. Those who are not able to attend in person have the option to attend virtually. 

6:00 p.m. — Cocktail Reception begins
7:00 p.m. — A three-course Dinner with Wine will be served
7:40 p.m. — LIVE STREAMING PORTION BEGINS — Greetings from distinguished guests and sponsors and award presentations begin.

When purchasing individual tickets, please email jraske@nlowe.org to let us know if you are attending with a companion(s) and wish to be seated at the same table.  We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

HOTEL ROOM RATE:   The Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland is pleased to offer persons attending this function the special guest room rate of $109.00/night plus HST, including parking.  All attendees can make their own reservations by contacting the hotel directly at 1-888-870-3033 or through e-mail at reservations@sheratonhotelnewfoundland.com  on an individual basis. Guests should identify themselves as members of the group, Newfoundland & Labrador Organization for Women Entrepreneurs.

CANCELLATION POLICY  
Full payment is due upon registration. Refunds will be provided for cancellations received prior to Thursday, October 20, 2021. Cancellations after this date are not refundable. Substitutions are permitted; however, notification must be provided to NLOWE by October 29, 2021. 

PHOTO/VIDEO DISCLAIMER 
Participants attending NLOWE events do hereby give permission for event management to use any photos/video taken during the event that contain their likeness in any respectable manner without compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of these photos in print or these photos/videos in electronic promotional material and/or on NLOWE’s website(s).  

NLOWE’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
As of October 22, 2021, as per the requirements made by the Chief Medical Officer of Health of Newfoundland and Labrador, NLOWE will now be required to check a person’s COVID-19 vaccination record to access all NLOWE sponsored programs and events including the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Gala on November 4, 2021. At this time, you must be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption.
