Money Mindset: Entrepreneurship Essentials

PeopleCan | Debbie will facilitate small group discussions around the topic of money mindset. This format is designed to maximize adult learning. When adults come together to learn, there are many teachers in the room. Attendees will be introduced to the concept of unconscious bias against making money, reflect upon the origins of their own money story and determine whether it helps or hinders them in business, get clear on how to call out sabotage in your business, and walk away with instructions on building an accountability group.

Attendees will gain an understanding of how our physical body responds to long-term stress and the predictable cycles women fall into when self-care is not a priority, challenge our own thinking about women's roles, self care, being "busy", being "superwoman" and offering new perspectives for a more balanced and fulfilling life, and take-home strategies to make change: physically, mentally, interpersonally and professionally.

Choices For Youth | This workshop provides participants with the practical knowledge on social impact across business environments and sectors by using a mix of storytelling, case study, and theoretical approaches. It is also designed to enhance perspectives on poverty reduction, community economic development, and business tools for social change. This workshop will provide concrete tools for anyone working in business, no matter what sector, to think about social change work differently, evaluate corporate efforts to maximize social impact, and leverage untapped potential within our communities.
